You can now ask Shopify Sidekick about Atlas Pickup Points right from your Shopify Admin. Sidekick can find the pickup point configurations you’ve set up (by carrier, country, or shipping rate) and link you straight to each one so you can edit it, answer product and setup questions from our website and documentation including which carriers and countries we support, which carriers are most popular in a given country, how features work, and pricing, and check your store’s live Atlas settings such as checkout blocking, automatic selection, your Google Maps API key status, and your current plan. Just ask Sidekick a question about your pickup point setup and it pulls the relevant details for you.

Order status page pickup point display fix

A platform issue on Shopify’s side prevented the app block showing the buyer’s selected pickup point from displaying on the order status page. This was not caused by a change in Atlas. Shopify deployed a fix today, and the selected pickup point now appears on the order status page as expected.

Improved buyer address matching

We’ve updated how the buyer’s address is determined when searching for nearby pickup points. The new logic is more forgiving when an address is ambiguous, incomplete, or contains small mistakes, so buyers see relevant pickup points more often without needing to correct their address first.

DPD France: Consignes Pickup (lockers) support

Our DPD France integration now supports Consignes Pickup lockers in addition to Relais Pickup service points. In the carrier settings you can choose to show Relais Pickup service points (the default), Consignes Pickup lockers only, or both, so buyers can pick whichever location type best fits their order.

Province names now saved in local language

Starting today, province names saved to the pickup point metafield will be in the local language instead of English. For example, in Italy:

South Tyrol is now Bolzano
Monza and Brianza is now Monza e Brianza
Naples is now Napoli

Province codes are unchanged, so use them for any logic or mapping in your workflows and treat the names as display-only.

Updated Bring and Posten pickup point icons

We’ve refreshed the pickup point icons used for Bring on the checkout map.

In Norway, where the service operates under the Posten brand, we now display the Posten logo and pin icons so customers see the local branding they recognize.

Renamed plans and refreshed Enterprise

We’ve renamed our plans for clarity: Basic is now Lite, and Premium is now Pro. Features on both plans are unchanged.

We’ve also refreshed the Enterprise plan, now $299/month, which now includes a dedicated support engineer, a shared Slack channel, prioritized feature and integration requests, security and legal review, and an SLA on request.

ShippyPro integration is now available!

We’ve teamed up with ShippyPro to bring pickup point selection and shipping label generation closer together.

Pickup points from any carrier enabled in your ShippyPro account can now be displayed at checkout through Atlas Pickup Points.
The ShippyPro app for shipping labels now recognizes the pickup point selected via Atlas Pickup Points, so the right destination flows straight through to the label.

Magyar Posta: New type attribute for filtering

We’ve updated our Magyar Posta integration with a new type attribute, making it easier to filter pickup points by location type instead of relying on name matching. You can now filter by posta (post offices), postapoint (retail/partner shops), and postamachine (parcel lockers).

UPS Locator API (Beta)

We’ve added a new UPS integration using the UPS Locator API. Unlike our existing UPS integration, this uses the official UPS API and provides more up-to-date locations in some countries, along with additional pickup point information such as LocationID (instead of just PublicAccessPointID). The tradeoff is that it requires setting up a UPS app and pickup points take slightly longer to load. Available in all countries where our regular UPS integration is supported.

Correos Express is now available!

Updated Shopify Flow "Select nearest pickup point" action

The Select nearest pickup point action is now out of beta and has been updated with important changes. The action now returns pickup point information, which can be used in subsequent steps of your workflow. Additionally, the action no longer throws an error if a pickup point cannot be selected (for example, when the buyer chose home delivery instead of pickup point) - it will now continue the workflow instead of terminating it. If you run any actions after the selection step (such as adding order tags), you may want to add a condition to check if a pickup point was actually selected.

Pickup point revalidation (Early access)

Buyers who select a pickup point and return to checkout days later may find that location is no longer available or has changed. Atlas now automatically revalidates the selected pickup point when they return - unselecting it if it no longer exists, or updating its information if details have changed. No more orders to closed pickup points! Reach out to us if you’d like early access.

Custom order metafields

You can now configure Atlas to create custom metafields on orders when a pickup point is selected, similar to how order attributes work. This lets you store pickup point data in a format that works best for your fulfillment workflow. Currently supports single line text and JSON metafield types.

UPS: Locker filtering

We’ve added a new locker attribute to UPS Access Points. This is a boolean attribute that indicates whether a pickup location is a locker or a staffed access point. You can now use this attribute in the Filters section to reliably exclude all locker locations from being shown to your buyers. This is especially useful if you ship larger parcels that don’t fit in locker compartments.

Updated pickup point selection logic

We’ve significantly improved the reliability of the pickup point selection process. The __atlas_pickup_points attribute will no longer be added to orders. Additionally, checkout blocking is now stricter, making it no longer possible to bypass placing an order without selecting a pickup point.

Deprecating shop settings metafield

We are deprecating the shop atlas_pickup_points.settings metafield. Although this metafield was never officially documented, some custom integrations may rely on it.

If you currently use it, please migrate to the metafield in the app--46606876673 namespace.

This new metafield is also not part of our public API and remains unsupported, meaning its structure may change without notice. We recommend avoiding long-term dependencies where possible.

The original metafield will be removed on 23 Feb 2026.

If your integration depends on either metafield, please contact us so we can help you plan a stable approach.
