We’ve made several performance and results accuracy improvements to the place search feature, which is used in the Map, Admin, and POS extensions.
To take advantage of these improvements, please enter a second Google Maps API key in our app settings and ensure that the Places API (New) is enabled on the Google Maps Platform.
You can verify that the Places API (New) is enabled by checking your settings.
If the Places API (New) is enabled, you’ll see a green check mark on the right. If it’s disabled, an error message will appear.
