No. Atlas Pickup Points handles the pickup point selection and saves the selected point to the order. Everything after that (labels, shipping, tracking) happens in the tools you already use.
#What Atlas does
- Shows pickup point selection to buyers in Shopify Checkout or on the Thank you page.
- Saves the selected pickup point to the order metafield, and optionally to order attributes, the shipping address, or custom metafields.
- Lets you view and change the pickup point on an order in Shopify Admin.
#What Atlas does not do
- Create shipping labels. Generate labels with your usual shipping tools, using the pickup point data Atlas saves to the order. See How to get pickup point data into my fulfillment software and the Integrations page for compatible apps.
- Ship parcels or negotiate carrier rates. You ship under your own carrier contract. Atlas only displays the carrier’s pickup point network and records the buyer’s choice.
- Track deliveries. Tracking stays with your carrier or shipping app.
- Handle returns to pickup points. Atlas covers outbound delivery only.
#How it fits together
- The buyer selects a pickup point at checkout (or on the Thank you page).
- Atlas saves the pickup point details to the order.
- Your shipping app, WMS, or ERP reads the pickup point from the order and generates the label addressed to the pickup point.
- You ship the parcel as usual under your own carrier account.
