If the shipping option for pickup point delivery is visible but the pickup point selection itself does not appear, work through the causes below. Start with the shared causes, then continue to the section for the surface where the selection is missing: during checkout, or on the Thank you page.
#Check these first
These causes apply to both checkout and the Thank you page.
#Your Atlas subscription is not active
If your subscription was cancelled, or your trial ended without an approved plan, buyers don’t see the pickup point selection. Check Atlas Pickup Points → Billing.
#Block has not been added
The Pickup point selection block must be added to each page where you want the selection to appear. Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Checkout → Checkout Editor and verify that the Pickup point selection block is on the checkout page (Pro and Enterprise plans) or on the Thank you page (Lite plan).
#Shipping option is not assigned to a pickup point configuration
The pickup point selection only appears when the buyer’s chosen shipping option and destination country match a pickup point configuration. In Shopify Admin → Atlas Pickup Points, open the configuration for the buyer’s country and check:
- Shipping options contains the option name exactly as shown at checkout (including spacing and capitalization). Only options defined in Shopify Admin → Settings → Shipping and delivery appear as suggestions. If you use a shipping app, options from the app will still work, but you need to type the option name manually.
- The country in your pickup point configuration matches the buyer’s shipping destination.
#Another app’s pickup point block is on the same page
If you previously used another pickup point app, its block can still be in your checkout configuration. Another app block that displays a map on the same page can conflict with the pickup point selection. Remove it in the Checkout Editor.
#Google Maps API key problems
A missing, restricted, or unbillable Google Maps API key can prevent the selection from loading or leave the map blank. Check Atlas Pickup Points → Settings for error messages on the API key fields, and see How to create Google Maps API keys for the full setup and troubleshooting steps.
#If the selection is missing in checkout
#Block is not included in Shop Pay
If the pickup point selection appears in the regular checkout but not in Shop Pay, go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Checkout → Checkout Editor, click the Pickup point selection block, open Checkout behavior in the block’s settings, and turn on Include block in Shop Pay.

#If the selection is missing on the Thank you page
#Shipping option names have been translated
If you translate your shipping option names (for example with Shopify Translate & Adapt or another translation app), a Shopify bug can stop the translated name from matching your pickup point configuration on the Thank you page. The selection then disappears there for buyers who viewed checkout in the translated language, even though the configuration is correct. The selection during checkout itself is not affected and continues to work.
To work around it, add each translated shipping option name to Shipping options in the same pickup point configuration, so the Thank you page recognizes the shipping option in every language.
To avoid the issue altogether, we recommend not translating shipping option names with a translation app and managing them directly in Shopify Admin → Settings → Shipping and delivery instead.
#Your store uses the legacy Thank you page
Atlas blocks only work on the current Thank you and Order status pages, not the legacy ones. If the Pickup point selection block is present in the Checkout Editor but does not appear on the Thank you page, check in Shopify Admin → Settings → Checkout whether your store still uses the legacy Thank you and Order status pages, and upgrade them.
If the problem persists after checking all of the above, contact our support team with details about your setup.
